Snapventory Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 10, 2026
Snapventory is built so that we cannot access your data, because it never leaves your device.
What we collect
Nothing. Snapventory has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. Your inventory — places, rooms, items, photos, serial numbers, values — is stored only in the app's local database on your device.
Camera and photos
The camera is used solely to photograph your belongings for your own inventory. Photos you take or import are stored inside the app on your device. They are never uploaded, analyzed remotely, or shared with anyone — including us.
What leaves your device
- Nothing automatically. The app makes no network requests of its own.
- Purchases: the optional Pro unlock is processed entirely by Apple. We never see payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy.
- Exports you initiate: PDF reports, CSV exports, and backup files go wherever you send them. That's under your control.
Data retention & deletion
Your data lives in the app. Deleting an item, room, or place deletes its records and photos. Deleting the app deletes everything — export a backup and PDF report first if you want to keep them.
Children
Snapventory does not collect data from anyone, including children, and contains no ads.
Changes
Any future changes will be posted at this URL and noted in release notes.
